MTK is a producer and sample maker living in Seattle, WA. He grew up with his close-knit family and friends in Kansas City, MO and listened to artists like E-40 who inspired him to create beats with a similar sound. He has worked on songs such as Saweetie’s "Back to the Streets", Logic’s "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind", Trippie Redd’s “Under Enemy Arms", and has collaborated with artists such as Eminem, Jhene Aiko, Hussle, Timbaland, and more. He received 5 RIAA gold plaques for separate songs, produced Royce Da 5'9’s "The Allegory" that received a Grammy Award nomination, and his work with Logic placed #1 on both the Billboard 200 and the Billboard Rap charts. MTK says that he was able to achieve his goals in his music career when he started focusing more on the fun of the process, which is evident in the authenticity his work.
